Broome County Family Court Treatment Court |
For a year we have worked to put together a Family Treatment Court for Broome County Family Court. Families facing a neglect case which includes a charge that a parent is abusing drugs or alcohol will be offered an alternative process beginning November 1, 2004.
The Planning Committee invites all attorneys and especially those who practice in Family Court representing parents and children to an informational program on Thursday, October 21, 2004 at 5:00 P.M. at Broome County Family Court. Light refreshments will be served.
Please join our Planning Committee (Broome Bar Members Rick Hill, Carman Garufi, Ray Recchia, Dick Lewis, Philomena Stamato, Bill Gibson, Martha Lyons) along with Gayle Hujar [DSS], Allen Wilmarth [UHS-New Horizons], Petra Stone [ACBC],Terry Cole [Mental Health], Lorraine Wilmot [Probation], Bill Knecht [Family & Children’s], Marcia DiRose [Family Court Clerk] and Rita Connerton on October 21st at 5:00 P.M.
